In January, the average temperature in Saihanba National Forest Park falls to minus 15 degrees Celsius. The Tuligen, a narrow river, serves as part of the boundary between north China's Hebei Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and is the source of the Luanhe River, the second-longest river in north China.
