As the sun's rays begin to penetrate the clouds and a warm breeze disperses the mist, an oasis awakens. Nan'ao Island in Guangdong Province is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, with the wind playing an important reproductive role.

About 'Journeys in Nature': Nan'ao Series

Nan'ao Island in Guangdong Province is a rare habitat of greenery on the Tropic of Cancer. The southeastern monsoon in June brings warm, moist air to the island, nurturing all lives: from ancient fig trees to newborn black-naped terns, from mysterious undersea creatures to medical herbs, which bestow Nan'ao Island with many stories.
