In traditional Chinese culture, the sika deer is a symbol of good luck and longevity. It is beloved by the Chinese. However, in recent years, the population in the wild has declined dramatically, making it harder to take an up-close look at them in the mountains. However, the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture is the perfect place to encounter this rare species.
