The Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone, located in China's southern Fujian Province, with an area of about 219 square kilometers and a population of about 338,000, was established in 2010. The zone introduced 108 Taiwan-funded enterprises such as Derun and Lida and 132 Taiwan talents. It also established policies and provides services to ensure Taiwan residents can work and live there as conveniently as they do in Taiwan.
