Americans Jennifer Kupcho and Alison Lee teamed up with Kim A-lim of the Republic of Korea to set a Guinness World Record with six pars or better on the same par-three hole in three minutes, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) said on Wednesday.
The record-setting moment, during which the trio played an alternate-shot format, was set on Tuesday at the 17th hole at Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Canada, site of this week's Canadian Women's Open.

Moments earlier, fellow golfers Megan Khang of the U.S., Rebecca Lee-Bentham of Canada and Pauline Roussin of France set the initial mark at the 17th when they completed five holes in the allotted time.
"We lost the coin toss and so we had to go first, and I would like to think that we helped Alison, Jennifer and A-lim kind of see how to play the hole," American world No. 36 Khang joked.
"But no, it was a ton of fun out there. There was some trash talking out there for sure. I mean, you don't realize how quickly three minutes goes."
All six players will get official plaques and recognition from Guinness World Records for their feats.
The goal of the challenge was to make the most pars or better on a hole, set to at least 160 yards, in three minutes.

In men's golf, the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) has overhauled their Tour schedule in the face of the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf threat.
The LIV Golf series that launched in June has lured some big-name players away from the U.S.-based circuit with staggering sums of money.
In response, PGA has required top golfers, assuming they qualify, to play at least a 20-event schedule consisting of the four majors, The Players Championship, 12 "elevated events" with average purses of $20 million and at least three other PGA Tour events of the player's choosing.
For the 2022-23 season, a "top player" will be defined as those who finish in the top 20 under the current Player Impact Program as well as those who finish in the top 20 under the revised criteria for the bonus pool.
Among the other changes is an "earnings assurance program" that guarantees players at the developmental Korn Ferry Tour priority category and above will earn at least $500,000.
The PGA Tour also said it will launch a travel stipend program that will see players receive $5,000 for every missed cut for non-exempt members.

The PGA Tour's top golfers have committed to competing against each other on a more regular basis while the bonus pool for players who positively impact the game was doubled to $100 million, commissioner Jay Monahan said on Wednesday.
"It's important to understand that this process represents a remarkable moment for the PGA Tour and showcases the essence of what being a membership organization is all about," Monahan said ahead of the season-ending Tour Championship in Atlanta.
"Those players rallied together to strengthen the tour platform, recognizing that if fans are going to invest in the PGA Tour it means a hell of a lot more if they know the players are investing right back."
"Our top players are firmly behind the Tour, helping us deliver an unmatched product to our fans, who will be all but guaranteed to see the best players competing against each other in 20 events or more throughout the season," said Monahan.
"This is an extraordinary and unprecedented commitment, a testament to who these guys are and what they believe in," he added.
