Liu Yang, China's first female astronaut in space and now a crew member of China's Shenzhou-14 Mission, said, "A great deal of flight data tells us that men and women show no difference in their work performance in space. We can all fulfill training tasks and pass evaluations to a high standard."
She made the statement during an event hosted by the Mission of China to the African Union, the China Manned Space Agency and the African Union Commission. Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe, who are currently aboard the China Space Station, shared their thoughts with African youths.
