Lord Rabbit has a history of more than 400 years in Beijing. It has been a traditional lucky mascot – immortalized in a sculpture dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and in annual rituals during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Zhang Zhongqiang, a master of the Beijing clay sculpture tradition, is going to show us how Lord Rabbit become one of the important traditional cultural symbols in Beijing.
