The unremarkable Beida Mountains are home to an array of vertically imposing stone forests. Like unsheathed swords, they form a striking contrast against the surrounding landscape. This is the Asihatu Stone Forest.
In the Mongolian language, Asihatu means treacherous rocks. Local residents dub them "boulders of the underworld." Behind this moniker is humanity's awe toward the power of nature.
