When clouds become 'waves'

With an altitude of 2,178.8 meters, Leigong Mountain is the highest peak in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Known as the mother mountain of the Miao ethnic group, Leigong is shrouded in mist and clouds most of the year. The sea of clouds looks like rolling waves in the ocean.

The Leigong Mountain National Nature Reserve is home to the largest and best-preserved Taiwania forest in China, and over 5,100 species live and breed here.
