The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said it fired warning shots toward its eastern and western coasts on Tuesday night to send a "grave warning" to the Republic of Korea (ROK) for firing dozens of artillery shells earlier in the day, state media KCNA reported on Wednesday.
