In 1995, China's first internet company Yinghaiwei (InfoHighWay) was founded by Zhang Shuxin in Beijing. As the earliest private Internet Service Provider (ISP) in China, InfoHighWay was committed to providing internet access services to ordinary families. It launched China's first private science education museum to publicize knowledge about the internet, cultivating China's first generation of netizens.
