Hours after hatching, baby Chinese mergansers are facing the life-and-death challenge posed by nature. The chicks, yet to learn how to fly, have to jump down from their mid-tree nest and fall on the ground, in order to reach their riverside habitat. Are they strong enough to face the challenge?
