Guizhou Province in southwestern China is home to the largest number of people belonging to the Miao ethnic group, totaling around four million. Living by mountains and rivers, they have long displayed a talent for singing and dancing. As the Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, draws closer, the Miao people across the region are hosting special events and festive banquets to mark the occasion.
