Qinghai Lake turns into a barren land in winter. Everything seems cold and gloomy. However, the moving fur balls, plateau pikas, break the silence of the wasteland. The plateau pika is a species endemic to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. How do they survive the cold winter on the plateau? Check out the video to find out more.

Qinghai Lake, the largest saltwater, inland lake in China, is home to a large number of wild animals. CGTN Nature's film crew traveled to Qinghai and discovered rare animal and plant species.
