March 2023 marks 10 years since the concept of "a community with a shared future for mankind" was first introduced by China. As the primary goal of the vision is to provide ground for an open, inclusive, clean and beautiful world with security and shared joy, China has been adhering to the path of peaceful development, which not only enables it to make great strides toward modernization but also injects strong positive energy into world peace and development.
Fernando Munoz Bernal is a Colombian vlogger who has been living in China for over 20 years and has participated in and witnessed China's development. "China has managed to become one of the most influential countries on the world stage without resorting to military aggression or coercion tactics against other states, simply by adhering to its policy of non-interference in other countries' affairs," he said. Seeing China's continuing efforts in promoting regional stability and economic development, he further mentioned that "China has taken an active role in global affairs and has been able to show its true commitment to building a community of a shared future for mankind."
