Japan's unilateral decision to discharge nuclear-contaminated wastewater into the Pacific Ocean has caused people in Japan, especially the residents of Fukushima, to worry about their health and livelihood. The decision will greatly affect the already troubled fishing industry in both Japan and surrounding countries. And it will make it hard for people to believe in the existence of any uncontaminated seafood.
