In this edition of Leaders Talk, CGTN sat down with Rodrigo Chaves, President of the Republic of Costa Rica, to talk about Costa Rica's vision for the future and how the country has been able to leverage technology to gain a competitive edge in the region. President Chaves states that Costa Rica is eager to offer China a unique trading platform in the region and points to the complementarity between the two countries to obtain win-win outcomes for both. He also commends China's development and its success in eliminating poverty and firmly supports President Xi's global initiatives to bring peace, development and harmony.
