The mountains near Baizalin Forest Farm are ablaze with wildflowers in July. The short, glorious summer on the plateau is peak season for the roaming animals. At sunrise, the place is deafeningly quiet. The majority of the animals are resting soundly, but a buff-throated partridge has already taken its young out to forage.
