Global and cyber security challenges topped the agenda at a two-day meeting of the BRICS National Security Advisers in Johannesburg, South Africa. Professor Jiang Shixue from the Institute of Global Studies at Shanghai University points out that cyber security is a significant part of BRICS cooperation. He also says the BRICS should play an important role in drafting the rules or regulations for cyber security.
