For this year's Chengdu FISU World University Games, designers have created diverse clothing to outfit a unique mascot character, Rongbao, incorporating cultural elements from Chinese intangible cultural heritage. From the embroidered hibiscus totem to the jade pendant, the clothing design incorporates thousands of years of Chinese culture, endowing this mascot with unique Chinese fashion elements. Since 2021, designers at the Western China Advanced Customization Center have designed more than 30 sets of clothing across three series for 'Rongbao,' of which 11 are currently available. They aim to use Universiade's global platform to promote an understanding of China and its culture, echoing the event's slogan, 'Chengdu Makes Dreams Come True.'
