The days from late November to January are Przewalski's gazelles' breeding season. All eligible male gazelles fight for mating rights with their strength within two months. Yiyi is a 4-year-old male. Two days after birth, he was rescued and sent to the protection station where he has been raised by Wu Yonglin, the head of the station. Yiyi failed for the mating right last year. About 'Journeys in Nature': Super Nanny Series
Wu, as the head of the protection station for Przewalski's gazelle in Qinghai Lake National Nature Reserve, has been devoted to conservation work for over 20 years. He not only monitors the gazelle population, but also rescues wounded or lost gazelles and serves as a "super nanny" of calves. What is Wu's daily life like with Przewalski's gazelles? Stay tuned!
