From July 29 to August 1, Laishui County, north China's Hebei Province suffered from heavy rainfall. The water level of surrounding rivers such as Juma River, Yishui River, Xiaoxi River rose sharply, and the mountain area was hit hard.
Amber is an American vlogger who's been living in China for almost eight years. She and her husband went to Laishui County to check out the situation and help people there after the floods. In the case of power, water, and internet failure, Amber witnessed that many rescue teams from other cities and volunteers also went to Laishui to help out, which made her feel touched by how united the Chinese people are.
