Flagging U.S. President Joe Biden's new executive order restricting American investments on China high-tech sector to allegedly protect American national security, Emmanuel Daniel, founder of The Asian Banker, tells CGTN's Wang Guan that every time the U.S. imposes trade sanctions, "it affects the U.S. more than it affects anyone else." Daniel says economies should focus more on technology's new challenges brought by increased productivity. He says China and the U.S. are on the same footing in this regard and both have the financial means to address these challenges.
