When it comes to the fight against drugs, China never dismisses a single lead
In 2019, based on information from the U.S., the Office of China's National Narcotics Control Commission launched an investigation into a possible case of fentanyl trafficking. An alias and phone number provided by the U.S. authorities led the Commission and other law enforcement agencies to a trafficking ring. The perpetrators were arrested. China never dismisses a single lead relating to cases of illegal fentanyl production and distribution. And China is always willing to cooperate with other countries in the battle. The U.S. authorities have also benefited from Chinese assistance, using leads provided by their Chinese counterparts to capture three fentanyl traffickers.
