CGTN has rolled out some new stickers!
Two months ago, we offered our social media followers the chance to select their favorite animal for a new design from the five candidates of elephant, dolphin, swallow, pika and camel, all being the most iconic and loved creatures in the regions along the ancient Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road. The bird and the sea mammal came out as the most popular. So, we made them pals!
New CGTN stickers, designed in both Chinese and English.
The new pack contains 16 stickers that feature the daily "etiquette" of a swallow and its dolphin friend.
Now you can download the new stickers to brighten your chats, posts and commentaries on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat and X (formerly Twitter), as well as Chinese social networks Weibo and WeChat.
Swallows are often hailed as the "heralds of spring." They can travel thousands of kilometers before showing up on time in the vernal freshness of the land. Swallows can be found in most parts of the world, except for some remote islands and the coldest regions.
Dolphins are whales – toothed whales, to be more specific. Apart from being famously friendly and playful with humans, dolphins are also well known for their intelligence. Bottlenose dolphins, for example, can recognize themselves in the mirror, which indicates a degree of self-awareness, a capability that's rarely discovered outside the world of higher primates.
