At dawn, Lashihai Wetland is awakened by swaying reeds and dancing fowl. Every winter, Lashihai's open waters become a paradise for tens of thousands of migratory birds. For Liang Zhongjun, this is the busiest time. As a ranger at the Lashihai Plateau Wetland Provincial Nature Reserve, despite the volatile weather, the twice-daily patrols must not be delayed.
