A turnjujube tree stands by the village. The leaves have fallen off. The remaining part is local people's nostalgic memories of autumn. Rich in sugar and vitamins, the turnjujube is one of the world's most ancient fruits due to its appearance. The sweet turnjujube is cherished by local people for its "hometown" taste.

About Journeys in Nature: Qionglai Mountains Series

Giant pandas were first discovered in the Qionglai Mountains in southwest China's Sichuan Province. More than 500 wild pandas are living in the mountains now. However, there is a lot more there than just pandas. In this series, you will see red pandas, sambar deer and Tibetan macaques. CGTN Nature takes you on a journey to track the pandas deep in the bamboo groves and uncover some interesting stories with the locals.
