Greater Hinggan Mountains Series Ep. 10: Here comes the 'Hedwig'!

In winter, the Hulunbuir Grassland takes on a new look covered with snow. The Hulunbiur Grassland is located in the northeastern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is to the west of the Greater Hinggan Mountains on the Hulunbuir Plateau. Snowy owls from the Arctic and Siberia spend the snowy season in the region, which has abundant food. Famous for the character "Hedwig" in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, the snowy owl has become a beloved figure for many people. Check out how the beautiful creature survives the harsh winter in north China.
