Blown by the piercing wind, the accumulated snow forms dunes on the grassland. A corsac fox emerges from its snow-covered den and sets off to seek food. Usually, it would hunt rodents in the grass, but sometimes decreasing prey in the cold winter leaves it empty-pawed. Fortunately, the clever fox is prepared for this.
