Pairi Daiza is a zoological park in Brugelette, Belgium. Founder of the park Eric Domb has been full of curiosity and admiration for Chinese culture since childhood. He built the largest Chinese garden in Europe in his park and realized his "Chinese Dream." In 2014, during a state visit to Belgium, Chinese President Xi Jinping and King Philippe attended the opening ceremony of the giant panda hall at Pairi Daiza.

In his reply letter to Eric Domb, President Xi recalled his visit to Pairi Daiza, and underlined China's commitment to a high-quality development path that prioritizes ecological conservation and features a green and low-carbon mode. In Domb's eyes, what's the right way for human beings to get along with nature? What efforts have China made for its green development and what has been achieved?
