Southern Yunling Mountains Series Ep. 8: Cradle of 'immortal grass'

The Yuanjiang River basin in southwest China's Yunnan Province is the cradle of China's wild aloe. At Pupiao Village, wild aloe can be found abundantly in the valley. Such wild aloe colonies are rarely seen in the country. It is also the nation's largest habitat for the species. The plant was recorded in many books in ancient times for its medicinal properties.
