The "Sayan Range March" snowfield combat and march competition opened on Saturday in Russia. It is part of the International Army Games, with nine teams from seven countries, including China and Iran, in attendance. On the first day, the teams competed in six disciplines, such as avalanche search and rescue, casualty delivery and group firing. The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) dispatched a men's team and a women's team to the competition.
