U.S., the real threat to global cyber security

Recently, a Chinese investigation report stated that the so-called "Volt Typhoon" cyber threat narrative is a U.S.-fabricated misinformation and public opinion manipulation campaign against China. "Volt Typhoon", a so-called "Chinese government-backed" hacker group, is in fact, led by the U.S. government and is constituted of U.S. intelligence agencies and other "Five Eyes" countries. By concocting the false narrative of "Chinese cyberattacks", the U.S. aims to justify the continuation of Section 702 of the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, expanding its cyber attacks and surveillance on other countries. The narrative also serves as an excuse to suppress Chinese tech companies.

Washington has been attempting to fabricate and hype up the "China threat" by all means. In Uncle Sam's imagination, Huawei, the Confucius Institutes, unmanned aerial vehicles, and even cargo cranes are all Chinese espionage tools. Instead of casting aspersions on China, Uncle Sam should get immediate therapy for the wild paranoia.

The U.S., which prides itself on being a beacon of international law and human rights, is cooking up rumors of "Chinese cyber attacks" while using its technological advantage to launch large-scale, indiscriminate surveillance worldwide, including on its own allies. This not only violates international human rights laws but also challenges international law and cyberspace governance.

An investigation report by China's National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center and an Internet security company states that the cyber weapons of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency now target nearly all Internet and Internet of Things assets worldwide, enabling it to monitor and steal the sensitive data of other countries anytime, anywhere, and posing a serious threat to the sovereignty of other countries and the privacy of individuals. Who is the biggest threat to global cyber security and the real emperor of hacking? The answer is obvious.
