Following recent rains, the distinctive wave-like formations of the Danxia landscape at Wave Valley in Jingbian, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province became even more pronounced, offering a stunning display of nature's artistry that captivated many tourists.

Danxia refers to a unique landscape formed on red sedimentary beds, shaped by both internal geological forces and external processes like weathering and erosion. This UNESCO-inscribed site includes six areas in the subtropical zone of southwest China, featuring dramatic red cliffs and various erosional landforms such as pillars, towers, ravines, valleys, and waterfalls.

These rugged terrains also serve as a sanctuary for subtropical broad-leaved evergreen forests, hosting a diverse array of flora and fauna, including around 400 rare or threatened species.
