A fleet of 75 sailboats set off from Qinhuangdao Sailboat and Yacht Port on October 1 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The event attracted nearly 200 sailing enthusiasts from Beijing, Tianjin, Wuhan and other parts of the country, including teams from Peking University, Tsinghua University and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The fleet sported red sails in the blue sea to celebrate the National Day.
