The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone is located on the eastern bank of the Pearl River estuary, west of the Nantou Peninsula. Established in 2010, it initially covered an area of 14.92 square kilometers, which was expanded to 120.56 square kilometers in 2021.
