Over 2,500 martial art professionals have gathered in Dengfeng, Henan Province, China, to showcase their kung fu skills as the 13th Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival kicked off on Saturday.
The festival features intense competitions in traditional Shaolin kung fu, as well as various kung fu-themed activities, with the aim of promoting cultural exchange and expanding the global reach of the martial art.
The event runs until October 22.
