Over the past year, China has ensured the overall stable economic performance and steady growth and accomplished the main goals and tasks for economic and social development in 2024, a government work report submitted to the national legislature for deliberation on Wednesday confirmed.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered the work report on behalf of the State Council at the opening meeting of the third session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing.
