President Xi Jinping is scheduled to attend a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the inauguration of new chief executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor and her cabinet at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
Xi arrived in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on June 29. During his three-day trip, Xi participated in various celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the territory's return to China.
