Time controlling crucial for Spring Festival Gala, says director

Time controlling and further polishing all parts are the top priorities for the Spring Festival Gala, Yang Dongsheng, director of the gala said during an interview with CGTN.
“The language programs can vary in length. They have to plan for different scenarios to make sure we don't miss the countdown at mid-night,” Yang said.
The Spring Festival Gala of China Central Television (CCTV) will be presented to the audience on Thursday night.
“We have set up three backup plans in order to deal with emergencies,” he added, “Currently we are sparing no efforts to improve details.”
