The Mid-Autumn Festival was marked with traditional fire dragon dance in Hong Kong. "Fire dragon" was lit with incense sticks. The three-nights acts will represent greeting, appreciation and moon chasing.
"Every year we do this to pass on the tradition to the next generation," said Chan Tak-fai, director general of Tai Hang fire dragon dance team.
In Chongqing Municipality, the Tongliang fire dragon dance recreates a centuries-old ritual. It is believed the fire dragon can ward off evil spirits and brings good luck.
