The largest, brightest full Moon of 2019 lit up skies across China on Tuesday, just in time for the Lantern Festival. A supermoon occurs when the Moon's orbit is closest (perigee) to Earth while being in a full phase. It's rare for a supermoon to occur on the Lantern Festival.
