Wang Yang: The CPPCC's suggestions on legislation

The 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, China's top political advisory body, kicked off on Sunday in Beijing.
Some of the suggestions from this committee included the formulation and revision of several regulations and laws in 2018, such as the regulations for the protection of minors on the Internet, the law on social security for veterans, and regulations on the registration and management of social organizations, China's top political advisor Wang Yang said on Sunday.
Wang, chairman of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, made the remarks when delivering a work report from the 13th CPPCC National Committee's Standing Committee at the opening meeting of the second session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee in Beijing.
In the past year, the 13th CPPCC National Committee also made proposals on comprehensive and integrated reform of the judicial accountability system, among other efforts to help improve the law-based governance of China, he added.
