The relationship between China and Japan got back on to the right track in 2018, said Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday, adding that as long as Japan holds an honest attitude towards history and an objective view to what's going on now, the good momentum can be well-maintained.
Wang made the remarks at a press conference in Beijing on the sidelines of the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC).
The Chinese official also called for more solid action towards Sino-Japanese cooperation on all fronts. Those efforts would be regarded as determined steps made for pushing China-Japan ties in the right direction, Wang said.
