The two leaders are expected to discuss stalled talks between the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) after the second summit between Trump and Kim broke down in late February, Yonhap reported.

Trump: Additional sanctions on DPRK not necessary

Trump also said the same day that he decided not to put additional sanctions on the DPRK last week because he wanted to maintain a good relationship with Kim and because the DPRK people were already “suffering greatly.”
"I didn't think that additional sanctions at this time were necessary. It doesn't mean I don't put them on later," the president told reporters at his Florida resort.

The president said he had a very good relationship with Kim.
"I think it's very important that you maintain that relationship at least as long as you can."
Trump and Kim met in Hanoi last month for a second summit, which collapsed over conflicting demands by Pyongyang for sanctions relief and by Washington for the DPRK to give up its nuclear weapons.
