Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that there was still time to reach an agreement on the Paris climate change deal, despite the panic surrounding US President Donald Trump’s decision to pull the US out of the agreement.
"Don't worry, be happy," Putin said at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"This agreement has not yet even come into effect. It will come into effect in 2021. So we still have time. If we all work constructively, we can agree on something," he said.

He "would not judge" Trump over his decision to pull out, Putin added.
Putin has also explained the reason why Russia had not yet ratified the agreement, saying the country is waiting for certain technical details to be settled.
