As many countries throughout the region look to actively participate in global trade, some nations on the other hand are still reeling from a major disappointment. The collapse of the Trans-Pacific Partnership following Washington's withdrawal has left some ASEAN members in a state of limbo. 
But, that hasn't deterred them from upholding the principles of both trade liberalization and globalization. In fact, it's done quite the opposite. CGTN's Rian Maelzer reports.
