A residential building fire that killed at least 22 people on Sunday in Changshu, east China's Jiangsu Province was a result of arson, according to a preliminary investigation, said the State Administration of Work Safety.
A suspect surnamed Jiang has been arrested, according to the local government.

The incident took place at around 4:30 a.m. local time in a two-story residential house where 29 people lived in Yushan Town in Changshu City. The fire has been extinguished.
One person is still missing and three people injured are in stable condition.
