The Irtysh Grand Canyon: Earth's ridgy veins

The rapid Irtysh River that runs from east to west is the only river in China that flows into the Arctic Ocean. Its headstream lies in the coldest place in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. When the river flows through its cradle, it leaves the ridgy Irtysh grand canyon on both banks, creating a marvelous scene.

Breath of the Wild

Located on the south slope of the Altai Mountains, Fuyun county in the Altay Prefecture of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is the cradle of diverse geological wonders and abundant wildlife.
