The Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) held a flag-raising ceremony on Friday morning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to China. 

The ceremony was witnessed by hundreds of people who gathered around the Golden Lotus Square in Macao.

Later in the day, an event to celebrate the anniversary and the inauguration ceremony of the fifth-term government of the Macao SAR was also held.
